Economy Inn

This is a family owned motel that really cares about there guest. I called before I drove there to check availability and to ask if I would be able to hook up my laptop to their TV. When I got there they had turned on the air conditioner and put a HDMI cable in the room for me to hook up my laptop. They have new large fully functional smart TVs and a refrigerator and microwave. There's a large fluorescent light in the ceiling and one in the bathroom so you have plenty of light unlike other motels with very dim lights. There's also a small lamp on the wall by the bed if you don't need that much light. They also welcome guest with pets. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping close by but there's not a lot of people around the motel and it's very quiet. This is not a real fancy motel, but if you're looking for a room that is clean with a comfortable bed and a very good TV you will not be disappointed. The family members running this motel will make sure you have everything you need and are satisfied with your stay. I've read a lot of reviews about a lot of places during my travels as a truck driver over the last several years and I've never left a review about any place before now, but I had to leave a review about this motel. Next time I travel through this area I will either stop a little early or drive a little longer to stay here again.

A wonderful experience during an unexpected pit stop during our cross-country road trip across the U.S. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful & the rooms were clean and roomy. The price was simply phenomenal for the service we received. If we ever find ourselves in Nebraska again, I can guarantee a return visit!

The room was very clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds. I liked that it didn't feel cramped, the guy that I checked in with was very friendly and told us to let him know if we needed anything at all. He had the heat turned on for us, when we got there so that we would feel comfortable. He also brought us more towels. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Nebraska City.

If you are looking for an inexpensive room and don't need all the amenities the Economy Inn is the place to stay, they are friendly, personable,and accommodating, comfortable beds and good shower/bath. We were very happy with our stay and will look forward to staying again in the future.

Just stayed for a quick night and chose it based on the price versus the other two big chain hotels down the road. Upon outside appearance checking in, I was a little unsure. However, I reread some of the reviews and will say that they all lived up to it. The rooms were clean and in the process of being updated. You can tell they don’t have the funding of a major hotel chain, but the sheets and towels were clean. The room felt pleasant, and more than anything, I could tell the owner truly cared about my experience. It’s a family run business, and they are putting what they have and can into it. And their guest experiences are what matter most. If you’re debating one of the bigger hotels down the street, save your money and stay here.

Hotel owner is very friendly and helpful! He upgraded our room at no cost and was very pleasant to work with. Room was much larger than we expected and very clean. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice owner! The room I stayed in was in process of some updates, so it wasn't pristine. But the bed was comfy, I had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and even a convection oven. There was a couple bugs crawling around on the wall in my room, but they were NOT bedbugs so I wasn't super concerned. For the price it is not a bad place to stay, I would definitely stay there again if I'm in central city again

Like the name suggests, this is a no frills establishment. However, it's clean, the staff is very friendly, and the beds are comfortable. Sheets and towels are crisp and white every day. There are no bed bugs or roaches. Worst you'll deal with is a mosquito or two. The motel also feels safe, families and travelers. TL;DR-The place is fine.

Yes, the room was dated, but you can see they are working on updates. This was an inexpensive and quiet place to sleep during my travels. The owner is super!

We got bad weather while traveling and needed a place to stay that was dog friendly and didn't cost a fortune. Keeri (sp?) The manager was super cool and accommodating. It was affordable and clean. Just a small little place. Super grateful!
